Lino print artist
I create limited edition artist prints in a variety of printmaking techniques including linocut, wood engraving, screen print and lithography.
Here are some of the linocut prints I have produced over recent years.
To create these lino prints I'll draw onto the lino (using black Indian ink), cutting away the non-printing area with a variety of tools.
The surface of the linoleum is then inked up using a roller, and the paper applied. I'll either burnish the print by hand or will use my Albion printing press to take an impression.
For each of the colours in my lino prints, a separate block will be cut, printing each colour at a time, building up the finished image.
Here are my currently available linocut prints (along with a selection of my prints in other mediums). Explore all currently available prints >
